Our dedicated team of top class caterers aim to make your stay at Denman something to really savour, with mouth-watering ingredients sourced from local farms and independent suppliers, a wide range of regional and seasonal recipes and the sheer quality and diversity of our menus. Whether it’s a hearty stew in winter, poached salmon in summer, a Sunday roast or seared vegetable kebab with couscous, we aim to provide something for everyone. Special diets can be catered for.
The Denman day begins with a hearty breakfast, featuring a choice of traditional full English breakfast, cereals, porridge and toast. Lunchtimes offer light and tasty treats, from soups to salads, pasta dishes to baked potatoes. And mid-afternoon everything stops for tea…and homemade biscuits…and cakes. Our famous chocolate brownies with popping sugar are sure to weaken the will of even the strictest dieter.
But dinner is where Denman really shines, and our signature dishes include smoked trout with citrus crème fraiche, slow cooked beef casserole with horseradish dumplings, Portobello mushrooms with sun blushed tomatoes and cheddar grate and to top it off, oaty Bramley apple crumble with vanilla infused custard, almond Eves Pudding with clotted cream and a selection of fine cheeses – lovely.
And don’t forget — wines and drinks can be purchased from the bar to accompany your meal. Or just enjoy a relaxing nightcap before bed.
